Monarch Personnel was asked by our client (an international oil company) to consider ways to reduce the number of delivery incidents and accidents within the overall workforce. In particular, we were asked to focus on the number of contamination incidents on loading and delivery.
For 24 months, all new LGV1 ADR tanker drivers were recruited using QuestAI®, where we put the recruitment focus on recruiting with the right mindset as the priority. The experience was only considered if an applicant met the minimum QuestAI® mindset standard.
The recruitment process changes resulted in a younger and less experienced set of new employees who required a slightly longer induction programme.
At the end of the 24 months, the new recruits' performance working as part of Monarch's contract workforce was compared to the clients' existing workforce's performance for the two years before the study.
When comparing the results, the incidents and accidents in the group of new recruits were 20% less than with the experienced workforce.
Our client was delighted. Also, the client confirmed that using QuestAI® had improved worker flexibility, customer service and performance across the whole team.
